11th Night of Glory in Vienna

WKF AUSTRIA president Gerald DITTRICH report about last great event in Vienna.

First time in Austrian history Champions from China fought for titles.

Promoter knock-out.at organized international event with fighters from Hungary, Czech Republic, China and of course Austria. WKF SANDA division World president YAN Dinan was special guest, as well as WKF pro-division World president Istvan ROZMAN from Hungary.

 

Among many other fights a ladies prestige fight was very exiting. Deshire KURTAJ from Octagon pro Gym fought against Austrian Stephanie MUELLER from Dimos Gym. After 3 rounds of action Kurtaj won this bout by points 3:0. Now she is ready for her next fight in Canada !

Second main fight was for the PRO-AM Intercontinental title in lowkick middleweight – 71Kg / 156 lbs.  Austrian European Champion Amir SAHIL  challenged Chinese Champion Junyu LYU. After 5 tough rounds Lyu was clear winner by points. First time ever in WKF history we have now a Chinese Intercontinental PRO-AM Champion.

Deshire KURTAJ, Octagon pro Gym, Vienna

First main fight was for the WKF pro Intercontinental title in light cruiserweigh – 84,60 Kg / 186 lbs.

WKF CZECH REP. top fighter Jiri KOPECNY from Gibu Gym in Brno challenged Chinese fighter Changrong DAI. In the second round Kopecny made a nice knee kick to the head and the end was a clear KO.
