One of our most loyal and active friends in the Middle East is Majeed HUSAM.

As WKF supervisor, he is the highest ranking official of the WKF in this region.

Against all odds, he is successfully trying to move our sport forward and is now reporting on his latest event.

Mr. Husam is also being considered as a possible candidate to become a member of the World Federation Board. As is well known, new elections for the WKF World Federation Board will take place at the World Congress in November in Spain.

WKF IRAQ has already confirmed its participation in the World Championship in Alicante from November 18th to 22nd. The necessary entry visas for Spain will ultimately decide this.

Sponsored by the Iraqi Kickboxing and Martial Arts Foundation, in cooperation with the Al-Kazemi Humanitarian Foundation and the Holy Karbala Youth and Sports Directorate.

The Iraq Pro Kickboxing Committee holds a basic training course and a developmental judging course in the Olympic Hall in the Holy Government of Karbala for two days, Thursday and Friday, 4-5/7/2024.

WKF IN MIDDLE EAST is moving forward.

Our long time friend and high respected Supervisor Mr. Husam Majeed Yaseen held a referee and official seminar. 

A training and arbitration seminar was held last December 2023, in Baghdad, and a certificate of participation was issued to them.

With a view to the World Championship in Spain 11th to 17th in November 2024, we urgently need well-trained referees and officials from this part of the world.

全民健身迎亚运·信心满怀奔共富“2023年浙江省青少年自由搏击俱乐部联赛”在杭州举行

全民健身迎亚运·信心满怀奔共富“2023年浙江省青少年自由搏击俱乐部联赛”于4月8日，在杭州市武林广场正式开赛。

 

本次比赛由浙江省自由搏击运动协会主办，

WKF世界自由搏击联合会中国区赛事认证。

 

来自浙江省内十几个市、县、区的120余名青少年运动员参加本次俱乐部联赛。

本次比赛参赛运动员年龄跨度在 6-17周岁，有的参赛运动员年龄虽小，

但竞技水平不可小觑，在擂台上展开激烈的比拼。

 

自由搏击运动不仅是男生的“专场 , 也成为许多女孩的选择。

 

英姿飒爽的女选手们，青出于蓝而胜于蓝，在比赛中展现出巾帼不让须眉的精彩场面。

 

本次比赛是浙江省自由搏击运动协会自2022年8月成立以来，举办的首场赛事。

杭州作为联赛的首站城市，承担着“第一颗纽扣”的重要作用，

接下来将在宁波、绍兴、嘉兴等地陆续开展自由搏击联赛。

旨在推动浙江全省自由搏击项目发展，加速全民健身运动普及，为即将在杭州举

 

 

 

National Fitness Welcomes the Asian Games, Full of Confidence and Confidence, “2023 Zhejiang Youth Free Fighting Club League” Held in Hangzhou National fitness welcomes the Asian Games, full of confidence and prosperity “2023 Zhejiang Youth Free Fighting Club League” officially kicked off at Wulin Square in Hangzhou on April 8. This competition is sponsored by Zhejiang Free Fighting Sports Association and certified by WKF World Free Fighting Federation in China.

More than 120 young athletes from more than a dozen cities, counties, and districts in Zhejiang Province participated in this club league. The age span of the participating athletes in this competition is 6-17 years old.

Although some participating athletes are young, their competitive level cannot be underestimated, and they will compete fiercely in the ring. Kickboxing is not only a “special event” for boys, it has also become the choice of many girls. The heroic and valiant female contestants are better than the blue, and they showed a wonderful scene in the competition. This competition is the first event held by Zhejiang Free Fighting Sports Association since its establishment in August 2022. As the first city of the league, Hangzhou plays an important role as the “first button”.

Next, free fighting leagues will be launched in Ningbo, Shaoxing, Jiaxing and other places. It aims to promote the development of free fighting projects in Zhejiang Province, accelerate the popularization of national fitness sports, and prepare for the upcoming Hangzhou

Mr. Sowyamvu Raj Dangol is a renowned and reputed Senior Martial Artist of Nepal.

He had started to learn Karate and Kickboxing in the very beginning at the age of 15.

He had learnt many styles of Martial Arts during his 35 years sports life. He is a 5th Degree holder in World’s ancient martial arts PANKRATION, 4th Degree in Jendo and Arnis, 2nd Degree in Kickboxing, 2nd Degree in Karate and 3rd Degree in Taekwondo in Nepal.

Mr. Dangol has participated in numerous national as well as various International Martial Arts Tournaments in his life.

He participated in International Invitational Kick Boxing Championship-2001 won Silver Medal that was held in Nepal in 2001 which was his first competition in his Martial Arts Journey.

Similarly, he competed in many National and International Karate Championships and other styles of martial arts at past.

Currently He is working as a president and Chief Instructor of Nepal All Styles Martial Arts Association. And operating training of various styles of martial arts including Kickboxing, Karate, MMA, Taekwondo and Self Defense in under the NASMAA Academy.

 

 

Except being an Multi style martial arts instructor, He is one of most successful Sports administrator and manager in the history of Nepali Sports.

Mr. Dangol has organized many National, Regional and District Level’s Martial Arts Tournaments under his presidency.

Most importantly, he has managed to organize First National Martial Arts Festival-2012 and first National Self Defense Seminar-2010 for the very first time in the country.

Similarly, everyone admired his ability and courage when he organized 1st National Youth Sports Festival in Kathmandu, Nepal successfully on 2009.

There were 10 different disciplines of sports and martial arts participated in the festival.

 

 

Except this as a technical committee member he played important and significant role to make a grand success of the National Games that was organized by National Sports Council of Nepal. And did outstanding job as a Member of Inspection and Evaluation Committee during 13^th South Asian Games-2019 that was held in Kathmandu, Nepal.

Mr. Dangol is planning to host International WKF Referee seminar of Kickboxing in Nepal within 2023 September and planning to organize 1^st South Asian Kickboxing Championship in 2023 November with the sanction of World Kickboxing Federation.

In order to run Kickboxing events and activities in Nepal he formed Nepal Kickboxing Federation and working hard to fulfill objectives of the federation.
World Kickboxing Federation wish him all the best for his efforts and endeavor to organize Kickboxing events with grand success.
