News from WKF IRAN and WKF ASIA
Congratulations to one of the high ranking members of the WKF Asia/Iran Board of Directors, Dr. Hamid Azizi, for his new responsibility as the Special Member of the Executive Council of the Iran National Olympic Committee.
Dr. Azizi became an official member of the Asia/Iran WKF Board of Directors in 2012. He has since dedicated a considerable and productive amount of time and effort in organizing events such as the Grand Kish Island International WKF Title Championship, assisting the President of the WKF IRAN, and the Vice President of the International WKF, and the WKF International MMA Division Mr. Amir Mosadegh.
One of the highlights of the above mentioned event was the presence of the International WKF President, Grand Master Mr. Fritz EXENBERGER, WKF World president / CEO. World head

Dr. Hamid Azizi just announced that he will utilize the Iran Olympic Committee’s means and facilities in providing all the necessary assistance’s in order to uphold the said events…
Mr Amir Mosadegh also announced that, upon positive feedback received from Mr. Fritz EXENBERGER, the Magnificent Kish Island, and its vast athletic facilities, will be considered as a suitable location for further withholding internationally sanctioned tournaments…

WKF pro world champion title fights in Austria March 18th
Now it’s fixed, the contracts were signed in Sydney
and arrived in Vienna !

The WKF AUSTRALIA and OCEANIA Director Mr. Rustam A. ATTAI will be traveling from Sydney as supervisor for this fight. Mr. Hamid ATTAI will be ringside judge.
WKF AUSTRIA thus fulfills the minimum requirements of the WKF – World Kickboxing Federation.
The title fight is cruiserweight – 88.2 kg / – 194 lbs, scheduled for 5 x 3 minutes!
The reigning Australian professional world champion Matt STAPLEFORD comes with his belt from Sydney and the Viennese Kristian ZECEVIC from ASIA GYM wants to bring this belt to Vienna.
The Austrian challenger, Kristian ZECEVIC, is ranked seventh in the World PRO rankings and has been accepted as an opponent by the Australians.
Kristian is very much looking forward to his first major title fight.

World referee seminar 2022 in Wels, Austria
WKF AUSTRIA president Mrs. Tanja HELML is the host of the next WKF World referee seminar 2022 on October 21st to 23rd.
Venue is the amazing 4 star Plaza Hotel Wels.
This is the perfect weekend, just before the European Championships 2022 in Wels, Austria. After more than 10 Years our World referee seminar takes place in Austria again.
We got already many requests from our male / female referees and officials from 6 continents and we hope everybody who would need Visa start in time with Visa procedure.
Registration deadline October 7th!

The extended license is valid for three Years again.
